  • What is a packraft?
    Packrafts are essentially a single or duo inflatable kayak. They are more stable than a kayak and durable enough to tackle decent white water but also lightweight so you can easily hike, bike and travel with them. Packrafts are a great way to learn how to paddle and safely get used to the white water environment. Most of our packrafts roll up to the size of a small sleeping bag. There are different types of pack rafts available depending on what your main use for them will be. Packrafts add a new and exciting dimension to any adventure. Hike-raft, bike-raft, explore alpine lakes, fishing, hunting, ocean, canyoneering, camping, travel and whitewater adventures.

    A Ti-Zip is a waterproof zip that allows you to store gear inside the pontoons of your packraft while paddling. Great for over night trips!

    Packraft New Zealand HQ is located in Franz Josef Glacier on the West Coast of New Zealand at the heart of some of the best pack rafting in the country. Although we are primarily an e-commerce business selling online and we do not have a store, we run the business at our private property and welcome shoppers if you are in the area and need some gear or want to check stock out.     ​​RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY​ The Consumer Guarantees Act is essentially our returns policy however if you're not satisfied with your purchase, we will happily accept most returns (see terms below) and provide you with one of the following options: an exchange or a credit note. The product is in the same condition as you received it with tags attached. We can not accept returns or exchanges on electronics or safety products.
